CRX was up on the day to $291 per share, a long way since their IPO at $19. It seemed investors approved of the blitz of consumer technology invading every home. Consumer robotics followed a few general product guidelines. Every product had a camera, a 1024+ cpu computer, a way to move around, and a way to interact with the world. In fact, most of the products they sold were just those robots. Some had special applications, but most just learned their function as they were used. The "Freddy" model was the most popular: only about 6'' tall, but capable of tasks like taking out the garbage and cleaning the litter box.
